Hospital Operations

Ventricle Software designed and developed a comprehensive solution for Hospital Operations, the PDS operational portal

Comprehensive Market Data You Can Trust

PDS collects ALL paid claims from our members – inpatient, outpatient, and emergency services. This data includes all payers as well. This means you can view your HMO, PPO, and private pay reimbursement for all major commercial payers individually or combined. You can also look at your Medicare and senior plan reimbursement, as well as your MediCal/Medicaid and MediCal/Medicaid managed care plans. Data is also available for your worker’s comp and self-pay populations.
Secure: With our secure file servers, multi-layer entrusted firewall devices, password protection, secure transmission options, and our Verisign certificate (used by over 1 million servers, including 93% of Fortune 500 companies), you know your data is safe with us.
Compliant: PDS data is fully compliant with all federal anti-trust guidelines as set forth by the Federal Trade Commission and the Department of Justice in “Statements of Antitrust Enforcement Policy in Health Care (Aug 1996) Statement 6 – Provider Participation in Exchanges of Price and Cost Information.”
Web-based: Our database reports are all web-based and accessible by an unlimited number of users. No waiting for reports to be sent to you by an outside organization. You may view and export your data at any time
Our hospitals have reported results of millions of dollars of additional revenue in just one year due to their use of the PDS data. Smaller hospitals have used the data to improve their market clout by sharing data with their community, payers, customers, and working together to secure enough revenue to keep the local community hospital thriving. Larger market leaders have used the data to keep their competitive edge and make better informed decisions when opening new service lines.

Ventricle started with a prototype system built around our web project framework - Ventricle Applications Framework.
Ventricle expanded and developed the system database which is now over 750GB of data.
Ventricle provides operations and data management of the system.
Ventricle provides security and validation of the system.
